Is the Auffahrt Retreat suitable for beginners?

Yes. The yoga sessions are designed for all levels, including beginners. The focus of the retreat is slowing down, reconnecting with your body and enjoying the calm atmosphere of the Engadin mountains.

How many people join the retreat?

The retreat is intentionally small and personal. Hotel ÜJA has only 11 rooms, which means the group size usually stays around 15–20 guests, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

Does Hotel ÜJA have a yoga space?

Yes. Hotel ÜJA has a private yoga and movement room where classes take place. The room is equipped with mats and basic yoga equipment, and sessions can also take place on the terrace when the weather allows.

Is Hotel ÜJA suitable for personal retreats or small group retreats?

Yes. With 11 rooms and space for around 20 guests, Hotel ÜJA is ideal for small retreats, workshops or mindful getaways in the calm surroundings of the Lower Engadin.

What is included in the Auffahrt Retreat?

The retreat includes three nights at Hotel ÜJA, six yoga classes, daily brunch, community dinners and all yoga equipment.

Can I attend the retreat alone?

Yes. Many guests join the retreat on their own. The small group setting and shared meals make it easy to connect with others while still having time for yourself.

Hi, I’m Simona – co-founder of Hotel ÜJA and passionate about handmade crafts and creative projects for many years. From pottery and DIY decor to creating and selling my own handmade pieces, creativity has always been a big part of my life. My workshops are not about perfection – they’re about experimenting, creating and enjoying the process together.

The workshop usually lasts around 3 hours and typically takes place from 19:00–22:00.
Not at all. The workshop is beginner-friendly and no prior creative experience is needed.
All materials, tools and guidance are included, as well as 2–3 handmade Jesmonite pieces you can take home.

You’ll have free choice to create items such as trays, candle holders, coasters or small decorative objects.
