Is breakfast included?
Yes—all our guests enjoy a regional breakfast, which is included in the room rate. We use fresh, local ingredients to give you the perfect start to your day in the mountains.
What are your cancellation policies?
Cancellations are free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. After that, 100% of the booking amount will be charged. As a small, independent hotel, however, we ask for your understanding—we rely on our guests to honor their reservations. Depending on the timing and reason , however , we are happy to reschedule your stay or offer a discount for a future booking.
How do I pay for my stay?
Payment is generally due in advance or on the day of arrival.
For all bookings made directly on our website, your debit or credit card information will be collected, and the amount will be automatically charged one day before arrival.
For bookings made by email or phone, we can send you either an invoice for a bank transfer or a secure payment link.
What does the "Guest Card Plus" include?
The Guest Card Plus is included with every stay and gives you access to great regional perks:
Summer: Unlimited mountain rides (even on a bike!)
Winter: A round-trip hike in the mountains (uphill and downhill)
All year round: Unlimited public transportation throughout the Lower Engadine, including the National Park region, S-charl, Samnaun, and more
20% discount on admission to the Bogn Engiadina Scuol thermal baths

Are dogs allowed?
Yes—we love dogs! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome here at no extra charge. Please just let us know in advance if you're bringing your four-legged friend.
Is there a parking lot?
Yes— outdoor parking spaces are available for an additional fee of CHF 8 per night. Parking spaces are limited, so please reserve your spot when you check in.
Is there a minimum stay?
Depending on the season, we may require a minimum stay. During the winter high season, the minimum stay may be up to 5 nights.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open during the summer and fall seasons from Ascension Daythrough early November, and during the winter season from mid-December through Easter.
Is the hotel family-friendly?
Yes— families are very welcome! Please let us know how old your children are so that we can complete the official guest registration properly.
Can people who aren't staying at the hotel visit Café ÜJA?
Absolutely! Our Café ÜJA is open to everyone.
We serve delicious coffee, cake, Spritz, and other aperitifs in a cozy atmosphere with a magnificent view of the mountains.
